Our Philosophy

Nuboso was born from a deep appreciation for Costa Rica's extraordinary natural heritage.

The cloud forests, wildlife, landscapes, and ecosystems that inspire our collections are also fragile and increasingly threatened.

Nuboso Regenerates was created from a simple belief:

Nature should not only inspire what we create. It should also benefit from it.

Through strategic partnerships and direct contributions, we support projects that help restore, protect, and regenerate the ecosystems that make Costa Rica unique.

Our Commitment

For every Nuboso Regenerates product sold, a direct contribution is made to conservation efforts in Costa Rica.

Currently, Nuboso donates:

$1 USD for every T-Shirt and Tote Bag sold.

These funds directly support conservation and restoration projects carried out by our partner organizations.

Bosque Vivo Foundation works to restore and protect critical ecosystems through reforestation, habitat restoration, environmental education, and long-term conservation initiatives.

Why do we do it?

Restoring forests means far more than planting trees. It means rebuilding homes for the countless species that depend on them to survive.

In Costa Rica, many species face growing challenges due to habitat loss and fragmentation. One of the most iconic is the Great Green Macaw (Ara ambiguus), one of the country's most endangered birds. Its survival depends on healthy forests, connected biological corridors, and native trees that provide food, shelter, and nesting sites.

Through Nuboso Regenerates, in partnership with Fundación Bosque Vivo, we support ecological restoration initiatives that help recover degraded landscapes and strengthen the ecosystems that sustain Costa Rica’s extraordinary biodiversity.

While no single tree planted today can solve the challenges of conservation on its own, every reforestation effort represents an investment in the future of our forests and the species that depend on them.

We believe that protecting nature begins by giving it space to grow again. Because when we restore forests, we also help create a future for remarkable species like the Great Green Macaw.
